Boat hire on Macleay is to be a part of Sydney Harbour history. This 38ft timber cruiser was built on Goat Island in 1985. Nicknamed ‘Sputnik’, she was originally a ferry for Maritime Services Board staff runs between Goat Island, McMahons Point and Circular Quay. In 1999 Macleay was converted into a charter boat, accommodating thousands of guests since.
Boat hire on Macleay is great for smaller groups of up to 20 guests. Featuring a swim ladder, BBQ, 4 eskies, onboard bathroom, and sound system you can tuck into a beautiful bay or beach for a dip before enjoying your BBQ lunch feast.
